I drove Trollstigen, navigating its steep hairpins and stopping often to take in the views, then hiked quiet trails that gave a real sense of the scale and beauty of the fjord.
Hiking Trolltunga 'the troll's tongue,' is something I’ll never forget. Standing on that narrow ledge high above the fjord, the wind in my hair, I felt completely alive and then a rainbow arced across the sky, framing the fjord below. Overall, the hikes were challenging but every step brought me to even more incredible views, from hidden valleys to cliff edge lookouts. Even at the end of summer, Southern Norway’s landscapes felt endless and magical, a perfect mix of adventure and pure natural beauty.
